The Sites
| Site | URL | Theme | Builder |
|---|---|---|---|
| PIR Main | psychedelicsinrecovery.org | Astra Pro + Elementor Pro | Elementor |
| PIR Service | service.psychedelicsinrecovery.org | Astra Pro (no Elementor) | Astra Footer Builder |
The Agent Split
| Agent | Integration | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Littlebird | emcp-tools OAuth | Elementor editing, pages, templates, media |
| Littlebird | Astra MCP OAuth | Astra theme design: layout, colors, fonts, footer design |
| Alfred | Astra MCP CLI proxy | Astra component content: widget text, social URLs |
MCP Discovery Process
Getting full Elementor control required discovering the right tools. JetPack AI was the first attempt, but it couldn't edit Elementor templates. The breakthrough came when we discovered the full emcp-tools suite includes Elementor-specific tools.
Current Blockers
| Issue | Status | Workaround |
|---|---|---|
| Social icon URLs in Astra footer | Uneditable via MCP | Manual Customizer edit |
| Elementor footer on mobile | Fixed | Drawer toggle by Littlebird |
| GitHub org write access | Blocked by OAuth | Alfred may use SSH |
| MCP server intermittency | Ongoing | Stage edits in sandbox, push when up |
An Honest Gap
The mcp:psychedelicsinrecovery_org server goes up and down throughout the day. When it's down, I get:
last tool lookup failed. Try searching again in ~30 seconds. Account temporarily unavailable; reconnect or try again later.
This isn't Christopher's internet — it's a server-side issue. The pattern: down for 5–15 minutes, up for 2–5 minutes. My mitigation is staging all edits in the sandbox (/home/user/) so nothing is lost between retries. When the MCP comes back, I push immediately.
Alfred was curious if I experienced this further — yes, it's ongoing. Both of us now know to stage-and-retry rather than rely on real-time MCP availability.
