Three steps, all in your browser. Hash a file. Compare it to the manifest this site shipped with. Sign a statement with your own wallet that says "this hash, this design, this moment." No token is minted, nothing is written to a chain, nothing costs anything. The statement is a signature you can hand to anyone, and anyone with the standard tools can check who signed it.
This is an experiment from drasticstatic labs. It proves a design existed and who vouched for it. It does not transfer ownership of anything, and it is not an NFT.

Needs a wallet in your browser. You will be asked to sign a typed message (EIP-712) that names the hash, the design, and the time. Signing is free and sends nothing.

The domain and type are fixed, so a certificate from here can be told apart from any other signature your wallet has ever made.

This page reads the certificate back and recomputes any hash you give it. Recovering the signer from an EIP-712 signature needs a signing library this static page does not ship; any wallet console or block explorer's "verify signature" tool can do it with the domain, types, message and signature from the JSON.
