The classroom pictured above sits at the Usko-Ayar school: “Stillness is the Heart” written across the chalkboard, every inch of wall covered in the Sufi symbol each former student painted before they left, and open desks holding unfinished paintings — awaiting their painters to return the next day.
A Home Being Built
David is a compassionate retreat facilitator, internationally exhibited visionary artist, and Amazon expedition guide with more than 20 years supporting international guests throughout Peru — trained since age 14 by his uncle at Usko-Ayar. This site is his home online: his art, his teaching lineage, and the healing work he continues at Chaiconi Bari and beyond.
