Our daily practice of cultivation and harvest

Overview​

The Mushroom Farm is the heart of our daily practice in the Ethereal Offering ecosystem. Through regular tending and harvesting, you:

  • Collect Daily Mushrooms (ERC-20) — one per 24 hours
  • Harvest Farm NFTs (ERC-721) — unique collectibles after colonization
  • Build streaks — longer streaks unlock rare mutations
  • Accumulate gas currency — Daily Mushrooms power cross-breeding

Daily Ritual Farming​

Log in daily to farm or mine our mushroom NFTs and watch our collection grow. Each day brings a new opportunity to cultivate our spiritual garden.

The Dual Token System​

Our farm produces two types of tokens:

1. Daily Mushroom (ERC-20) — Every 24 Hours​

  • Fungible token (like a currency)
  • One per day per connected wallet
  • Primary use: Gas currency for cross-breeding experiments
  • Accumulates in our wallet for future use
  • Can be traded on the AMM (if enabled)

2. Farm Harvest NFT (ERC-721) — After 8 Hours​

  • Unique collectible (one-of-a-kind artwork)
  • First flush after colonization period
  • Contains multiple mushrooms in the artwork
  • Unique traits: strain type, oracle wisdom, rarity, season
  • Cannot be divided — it's a complete farm snapshot

How It Works: Step-by-Step​

Step 1: Connect Our Wallet​

  1. Visit the Daily Shrooms page
  2. Click "Connect Wallet" if not already connected
  3. Approve the connection in our wallet popup

Step 2: Inoculate Our Substrate (First Time)​

If this is our first time:

  1. Click "Start Our Farm" or "Inoculate Substrate"
  2. Confirm the transaction in our wallet
  3. Pay gas fee (small ETH amount)
  4. Wait for transaction confirmation

What happens:

  • Smart contract records our farm start time
  • Colonization period begins (8 hours)
  • we can now mist daily

Step 3: Mist Regularly​

Maintain proper fruiting conditions by misting our farm:

  1. Return to the Daily Shrooms page
  2. Click "Mist Farm" button
  3. Confirm transaction (minimal gas)

Misting benefits:

  • Maintains optimal humidity
  • Increases chance of rare traits
  • Shows our dedication (tracked on-chain)

How often?

  • Recommended: Daily
  • Minimum: Every 2-3 days to keep farm active

Step 4: Collect Our Daily Mushroom (ERC-20)​

Every 24 hours, we can claim one Daily Mushroom token:

  1. Look for the "Claim Daily Mushroom" button
  2. Click to claim (appears when 24 hours have passed)
  3. Confirm transaction
  4. Daily Mushroom (ERC-20) is added to our wallet

Important:

  • One per 24 hours — timer resets after each claim
  • Accumulates — we can save them up for cross-breeding
  • Acts as gas — used to pay for cross-breeding transactions

Step 5: Harvest Our First Flush (ERC-721 NFT)​

After 8 hours of colonization, our first flush is ready:

  1. Return to the farm page
  2. Click "Harvest First Flush" button (appears after 8 hours)
  3. Confirm transaction
  4. Receive a unique Mushroom Farm NFT (ERC-721)

What you get:

  • Unique artwork of our complete farm
  • Multiple mushrooms in the image
  • Oracle wisdom — a unique phrase from the Oracle of Fruit
  • Traits: strain, rarity, season, special properties

Can I harvest multiple times?

  • Currently, one Farm NFT per wallet per cycle
  • Future updates may enable multiple flushes

Mushroom Traits Explained​

Each mushroom (both Daily ERC-20 and Farm NFT ERC-721) has unique traits:

Strain Types​

  • Golden Teacher — Wisdom and insight
  • Blue Meanie — Deep introspection
  • Penis Envy — Potency and transformation
  • Albino A+ — Purity and clarity
  • Mazatapec — Ancient wisdom
  • B+ — Versatility and growth
  • And many more...

Rarity Levels​

  • Common (60%) — Standard traits
  • Uncommon (25%) — Enhanced traits
  • Rare (10%) — Special properties
  • Epic (4%) — Unique abilities
  • Legendary (1%) — Extremely rare, special governance powers

Oracle Wisdom​

Each NFT includes a unique phrase from the Oracle of Fruit:

  • "The fruit decays, the vision remains."
  • "Discipline grows roots."
  • "In stillness, the mycelium speaks."
  • "Every spore carries the whole."

Seasonal Variants​

Mushrooms minted during special times have seasonal traits:

  • Spring (Mar 20 - Jun 20) — Growth and renewal
  • Summer (Jun 21 - Sep 22) — Abundance and vitality
  • Fall (Sep 23 - Dec 20) — Harvest and gratitude
  • Winter (Dec 21 - Mar 19) — Rest and introspection
  • Equinox (Mar 20, Sep 23) — Balance and transition
  • Solstice (Jun 21, Dec 21) — Peak energy, rare mutations

Using Daily Mushrooms for Cross-Breeding​

Our accumulated Daily Mushrooms (ERC-20) are the gas currency for cross-breeding:

How Many Do You Need?​

  • Basic cross-breed (2 parents): 7 Daily Mushrooms
  • Triple cross-breed (3 parents): 15 Daily Mushrooms
  • Seasonal breeding (during events): 10 Daily Mushrooms

Strategy Tips​

  1. Save up — Don't spend all our Daily Mushrooms immediately
  2. Wait for events — Seasonal breeding unlocks rare mutations
  3. Plan combinations — Research which parent traits you want
  4. Track our collection — Know which strains you already have

Example:

  • Collect Daily Mushrooms for 7 days
  • Use 7 Daily Mushrooms to cross-breed two parent NFTs
  • Receive a unique Hybrid Mushroom NFT with blended traits

Farming Mechanics Deep Dive​

Hourly vs. Daily Tokens​

Note: Some documentation mentions "hourly mushrooms" — this refers to future features or alternative farming modes. Currently, the primary system is:

  • Daily Mushrooms (ERC-20): One per 24 hours
  • Farm Harvest NFT (ERC-721): One per colonization cycle (8 hours)

Boost Mode (Coming Soon)​

Future updates may include:

  • Fertilize: Spend PSILO or ETHO to boost growth
  • Tiers: Unlock higher tiers with more offerings
  • Revenue sharing: Earn from ecosystem activity
  • Gamification: Achievements, leaderboards, special events

Sustainable Loop​

The farming system creates a sustainable economic loop:

  1. Farm daily → Collect Daily Mushrooms (ERC-20)
  2. Accumulate → Save up gas currency
  3. Cross-breed → Spend Daily Mushrooms to create Hybrids
  4. Discover → Find rare strains and traits
  5. Participate → Use rare NFTs for DAO governance
  6. Repeat → Continue the cycle

Troubleshooting​

"I can't claim my Daily Mushroom"​

Possible causes:

  • Timer not expired: Must wait 24 hours since last claim
  • Wallet not connected: Connect our wallet first
  • Insufficient gas: Need small amount of ETH for transaction
  • Farm inactive: Mist our farm to reactivate

Solution:

  1. Check the timer countdown
  2. Ensure wallet is connected
  3. Add ETH to our wallet for gas
  4. Mist our farm if inactive

"My streak broke"​

Causes:

  • Missed claiming for 48+ hours
  • Farm became inactive (no misting for 7+ days)

Solution:

  • Start a new streak today
  • Set daily reminders
  • Enable notifications (if available)

"I didn't receive my Farm NFT after harvest"​

Possible causes:

  • Transaction failed (check wallet history)
  • Colonization period not complete (need 8 hours)
  • Already harvested this cycle

Solution:

  1. Check our wallet's NFT section
  2. Verify transaction on block explorer (Etherscan)
  3. Wait for full 8 hours if colonization incomplete
  4. Contact support if transaction succeeded but NFT missing

Best Practices​

Daily Routine​

  1. Morning: Claim Daily Mushroom, mist farm
  2. Check streak: Verify our streak is active
  3. Plan ahead: Decide when to cross-breed
  4. Track collection: Review our NFT gallery

Long-Term Strategy​

  1. Build streaks: Aim for 30+ days for rare variants
  2. Save Daily Mushrooms: Accumulate for special breeding events
  3. Diversify strains: Collect different types for cross-breeding
